Medical Waste Update: All Funeral Homes Must Register Regardless of Whether Embalming is Performed on Site.

Earlier this month, a letter co-signed by officials from both the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) and the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) was sent to some Michigan funeral homes regarding compliance with the Medical Waste Regulatory Act (Act).
