Death Notice: David C. Wren

TO MEMBERS OF MFDA

We regret to inform you of the death of David C. Wren, former owner of the Wren Funeral Home in Hastings and Vogt Chapel-Wren Funeral Home in Nashville. Mr. Wren died October 3, 2021 at the age of 80.

Mr. Wren is survived by daughter, Patty Wren; son, David (Julie Howerton) Wren; brother, Jack (Carol) Wren; brother-in-law Daniel (Linda) Latta; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn; father, William Wren; mother, Carrie Goodman; Sister-in-law, Sandra Elaine Schamanek; loving canine companions Barney in 1980 and Sassy Kay in 2006.

Private Family Graveside Services will be held, burial at Rutland Cemetery.

Those who wish may make memorial contributions to a charity of ones’ choice.
