As part of the federal COVID-19 response, the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) suspended the requirement of a manufacturer to hold an industrial manufacturing permit in order to make the type of alcohol needed for hand sanitizer. As a result, members of the Michigan Craft Distiller Association have adapted and reconfigured in order to make hand sanitizer.
They compiled the attached list of participating distillers to include contact information and what they have to offer. Most of the sanitizer available is liquid, not gel. If you have questions, please contact Government Relations Director, Cana Garrison at email@example.com or (517) 862-6393.
